Supporting Early Mental Health and Development in Underserved Communities
The Center for Psychological Services Foundation is proud to offer community-based mental health initiatives that help children thrive. We focus on prevention, early identification, and access—especially in Title I and underserved communities.
Our community-based mental health initiatives are designed to reach every child—regardless of income, zip code, or insurance status. By embedding services directly into schools, community centers, and local nonprofits, we deliver early mental health support where children live and learn.

Mission
The CFPS Foundation seeks to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and community need by providing free developmental screenings, workshops, and referrals—delivering early, equitable mental health care to children in Title I and underserved neighborhoods.
Mental Health Awareness & Education Empowering Families and Educators
We host and support community-based workshops on: - Identifying emotional or behavioral red flags - Responding to early signs of trauma or anxiety - Helping children transition to school - Supporting kids with autism or ADHD in inclusive classrooms

Screenings
In-school developmental and behavioral screenings identify support needs before issues escalate.
Workshops
Engaging, age-appropriate sessions teach coping skills, resilience, and social–emotional strategies for kids and caregivers alike.

We collaborate with schools, nonprofits, and local leaders to expand our reach and embed services directly into the communities we serve.
